End: Saugatuck/Holland MI (220 miles)

Drove to my brother John’s house outside Holland, Michigan. Set up the trailer in his driveway and connected to his electric and water systems. It’s not on level ground, but appears to be reasonably level after a lot of jacking & leveling.

Bill Steininger, my high-school buddy, came over for a bit. Then nephew Niel and his son Makai stopped on their way to the Grand Rapids airport to meet his wife, Gisele, and new daughter Maya.

We were given the big tour of their new house and property. Nice place in the country, with the house set well back off the road. Very quiet, no near neighbors.

Mom didn’t feel up to coming out here, so I (got) volunteered to take her to her doctor’s appointment in the morning, probably followed by grocery shopping.

There’s supposed to be some bowling with Bill in the day somewhere. Guess we’ll just improvise as we go.

Beautiful dry, clear, day. High around 70f.
