The temperature was 63f when we got up; it was mostly cloudy and somewhat humid.

We knew this would be a long day; we tried to get out early but it took us until 9:00 to get on the road.

We went down I-196 and US-31 to the Indiana Turnpike to the Ohio Turnpike. We were travelling about 65mph all day and it showed in the mileage.

The day stayed cool until mid-afternoon, when we stopped and checked in to the campground. We have about the same mileage to go tomorrow, but it was time to stop.

We ate pork chops and noodles, salad, and wine (merlot for me, chardonnay for Dolores) at an early dinner in the little house. Dolores made remarks about it being our last dinner on the road.

We’ll go to bed early, get up early and go home. Tomorrow will be the 102^nd day of the trip.
