We start this by going northeast into Yukon Territory via the Taylor highway and the "Top of the World" highway to Dawson city, the city created by the big Yukon gold rush of '98.

Both Dawson YT and Dawson Creek down in BC are named for the same person, but having both of these places as key tourist spots causes no end of confusion.
