This was another travel day with not much happening. Partly sunny, nice day.
Not far out of Dawson Creek, we entered Alberta and set our clocks ahead an hour to Mountain time.
At first the wind was against us, but as we went along it shifted to behind us and gave us a little boost. The road (AB-43) is in good condition east of Grande Prairie, at least to here.
We found the campground, which is very neat and nice, down a poor gravel road. But the site and the services are top-notch. There are two sections of the campground; the one in the back seems to have a lot of oil-field workers. There's a party going on in the back corner of that section tonight - probably a good place to stay away from.
We began doing our laundry when we arrived. Just then, a little rain-and-hail storm came through and surprised everyone. Then the sun came out again.
Not much to say about anything, except the fires in Kelowna BC have burned 200 families out of their houses. Ouch.
On to Edmonton tomorrow.
