Our December 2007 Rhine River Trip

Our daughter’s god-parents called with a travel idea they had - and it was a good one. We’d do a Rhine River cruise, see things, and go to Christmas Markets to buy gifts for the families. It took us about five minutes to start packing.

The overall itinerary was to fly to Frankfurt, bus to Koln, unpack, and settle in on the boat. Then the boat would take us upstream, stopping at the places shown for Christmas Markets, or interesting tours, and sight-seeing. From Nuremburg, we bussed to Munich and flew home from there.
