Well, we have Rewards Miles on Delta and Southwest. We just received a new Chase card that rewards travel on any airline. So we should use up the current one-airline reward miles.
We haven't been West in a while. We'll go to San Francisco, that place some people think of as Sodom (or Gomorrah), to see our daughter and her husband. Then we’ll fly down to Anaheim with them and pay our dues to the West Coast Mouse at Disneyland. We haven’t been there in an even longer time.
Then we’ll strike off on our own, taking the train down to San Diego. There, we'll see old friends in San Diego, and visit our daughter’s god-parents in Lakeside. We’ll run around town and relive the period when we met there in 1969 and made our first home there.
Then we’ll come home and get ready for whatever comes next. Current thinking is to do something in Italy in May 2016.
