This trip took us to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to board Holland America's MS Rotterdam VI for a cruise up the Norwegian coast to the top of Norway and return.
We (Owen & Dolores) cruised with Owen's cousin Fran and husband Duane of Honolulu and Seattle.
The pictorial below (NOT to scale) shows roughly the track of the cruise and the ports visited. Our latitude at Northcape near Honningsvag will be about 71*N, where we will have 24-hour sunlight.

Today we flew to Detroit DTW on DL2753, a nice boring flight, the best kind. Then we waited in the Sky Club for our 1800 flight to Amsterdam AMS on DL134 to arrive about 0800 tomorrow. Then we'll train to Rotterdam, Netherlands. We'll spend a few days there, then board the ship for the cruise.
The A330-300 flight in "Delta One" started out very nicely. Friendly crew and great service. Comfortable seats, poor wifi.
After our very good dinner, I put the seat flat and went to sleep (about over Labrador).
