The picture below illustrates what we hope to see on this trip.

This trip is a quick one. We're going to (hopefully) watch the Aurora Borealis in and near Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada. And we're doing it with our daughter and her husband. And we're doing it with a stopover in Seattle, where they live!

Woot!

To give a sense of scale to this episode, it's nearly 3,000 statute miles from Jacksonville FL to Seattle WA, which we'll do on Delta through (of course) Atlanta. It's a little over 100 miles driving to the Vancouver BC airport, where we'll take Air North, a Yukon outfit, the 900 miles to Whitehorse YT.
