Took state roads to Vicksburg - minimal traffic. Then we had to get on US-20W for a while, with lots of trucks. We stopped at a TA truckstop for lunch & fuel. When we came out, it was downright warm

Then on to Monroe LA, then north to Sterlington, where we stopped in a little mom-and-pop operation called "Bayou Boeuf RV Park". Quiet, mainly long-term residents. Wifi is minimal signal and minimal speed, since he connects via satellite antenna. Very low-key operation.

But we'll get cool and sit around and read or something relaxing. Right now, I'm going to get a beer.

Later - that's what we did. Ate a lite dinner, stayed cool, hiked the RV Park (no one in sight). Watched a train creep by. Really exciting.
