The CT scans taken two days prior show "no sign of ... disease", so I'm good to go for six months until the next review. All other organs were normal for someone of my age, so I'm just going to keep on keepin' on.

After this point in time, I became less diligent in making entries.

Dr Al-Bibi performed a colonoscopy today. The result was one small "ascending polyp", which was removed during the procedure.

He went out to the waiting room to speak with my wife and to tell her I needn't have another for three years.

Yay!!

I don't mind the colonoscopy at all, it's the prep that is repugnant.

Final Visit to the Oncologist

We've sold the house to move to Jacksonville Beach FL, to be nearer our son and his family.

I went to LeQuack today to tell him we're moving.  He took the usual bloodwork and said that he'd be in touch if anything showed up.  Apparently nothing has, since he hasn't called.

I thanked him for his work with me and told him I'd be happy to recommend him to anyone with questions.

Since it is now FIVE years since the cancer was removed from me, most cancer experts say that I can be considered a Cancer Survivor.  I think I'll just consider myself in remission.
