Tom & Abbey took good care of us again. Up at 0630 for the drive to Queen Beatrix airport. We checked in with the agent who tagged our bags.
Then we went through Aruba security who examined our persons and carry-ons.
Then we were funneled to the US immigration person who asked us who we were and why were we flying out.
Then we went through US security who examined our persons and carry-ons and asked about things in our checked baggage. He allowed that the tinned stroopwaffles were ok and let us go on into USA territory.
Now when we land at MIA we are a cleared flight equivalent to a local US flight. No need to do immigration and customs in MIA which is a total PIA.
The flights to MIA and to JAX were very nice, no excitement at all. We got our Hertz car, which was parked in almost the very last slot in the garage. And we drove home, unloaded the luggage, and turned in the Hertz car at the stand down the street.
