Málaga is like a beautiful work of art. And it’s no wonder considering, considering it was the birthplace of Picasso. You’ll find a museum commemorating his birth here, which is a must-visit destination for art fans. Elsewhere, be sure to spend some time in the city’s Alcazaba, a 11th-century citadel that is home to three palaces, beautiful gardens, and opulent fountains.

We have not planned anything here. We hope to meet Per Erik & Anna Bergquist, Owen's second cousin. Their common relative is Sophia Carolina Lindstrom, their great-grandmother (ff m) in Sweden.

What a great day. We did our normal things on board, then walked off into the nice cruise terminal and onto the waterfront below.

We hiked back and forth and then met Per Erik & Anna (in wheelchair). We did hugs and hellos, then walked along the waterfront promenade until we found a multi-nation restaurant. Erik pushed Anna in her wheelchair as she lost a leg a few years back.

We pulled up a table in a restaurant sprawled along the waterfront. It was segmented into smaller parts serving food of different countries. We talked. I had brought old photos from Sweden, including one of Erik's grandfather which we gave to him.

Then they gave us a nice bottle of Sherry and a little medal for D. Very nice. We ate in the American section; O had hamburger & beer, D some chicken & red wine. We paid for the lunch.

We walked more of the promenade, took picture, then turned around and walked more. Where the entrance to the car park is located, we said our good-byes and hugs and parted. A wonderful time with our Swedish relatives.

Back on board we went to trivia and joined Silke & Kai. We did well but not good enough to win. We split for a while then rejoined in the dining room for dinner. Waiter Tin served us - Tin was on the covid cruise with us.

After dinner we went to the Living Room. Amanda came along and started her singing show. We watched for a while but we were getting tired so we went to bed.
