215 miles to Viking Village RV Park, Stoughton WI.

Cool early, partly sunny and warm in the PM.

Today was ours for practical stuff.

We ran down I-94 from Menomonie to Stoughton, so the trip was quick. On the other hand, running fast with the big trucks cost us in mpg.

We set up the trailer in the muddy (rain last light) campground, gathered the stuff to be laundered and went to a local laundromat we've used before. While Dolores rode herd on the laundry, I went to the grocery for needed supplies. I put the groceries in the refrigerator and got back to Dolores just as all the laundry finished. Back to the trailer to put it away.

We rested a bit, then did an early salad and spaghetti-with-meat-sauce-and-hot-Italian-sausage dinner. Very nice.

After that, we just collapsed. We read and did a few computer things, but basically, we just crashed.

At Viking Village RV Park, Stoughton WI.

We loafed away the morning. In the afternoon, Dolores read while I took a laptop to the library and downloaded e-mail. Not much of it required replies, so I checked the finances on-line, then came back to the trailer.

At 5:30, we left for Madison and Dolores's brother Joe, his wife Rena, son Ben, and the other children Carrie and Bill. We met Carrie's boyfriend Eli, who darted in, then out. After talk and getting caught up, we went to dinner (Chinese, and good). 

After dinner, we returned to their house and talked some more until we noticed they have to work tomorrow. Further, they're doing a long weekend in Philadelphia beginning the day after tomorrow. So we got out of the way and returned to the trailer.
