20120727 Seattle Cloudy & Cool
We awakened at a reasonable time and did coffee & breakfast. The newspaper didn’t show up (?) for some reason. We started out, but the day didn’t look all that great and D is suffering from Chief Seath’s Revenge, so we elected to stay in.
We tended the cats and watched TV. I read a LeCarre book. D put on BBC TV and watched Dr Who.
We ate up the leftovers from last evening - the spicy sausage Joe was still good.
At 5pm we did a glass and fed the pussycats their tuna from Palisades. They like us while they’re feeding but are still skittish afterward.
I went out for various things including a new mouse for the laptop. D didn’t want to walk, so I stopped on the way back and brought her a crab for dinner. Then I went back up to 5th Ave to a pub for a couple of pints of pale ale and fish-and-chips, quite satisfactory. I returned to the condo to find D watching the tape-delayed opening of the Olympics in London.
We received e-mails from F&D that they went to SFO, then IAD, and got onto their flight to Dublin OK. Good.
I’ll finish these notes and join D.
