This is the time we are given access to our Hospitality room. We will be setting things up and just hanging out getting ready. We will be there to welcome aboard anyone who shows up that day.
Friday, May 26th 8:00 am until 10:00 pm.
The Hospitality room will be open. In the morning there will be a coffee service set up with some type of fruit and
pastries available. There is a planned meet and greet function at 4:00 pm. In the afternoon there will be some type of finger foods / appetizers available.
Saturday, May 27th 8:00 am until 10:00 pm (with a 5 hr. break during the Banquet 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm)
The Hospitality room will be open. In the morning there will be the coffee service with fruits and pastries available.
THIS IS THE DAY FOR THE SUBMARINE TOUR. The tour(s) take place from early morning returning early afternoon
time frame.
THIS IS THE EVENING FOR THE BANQUET.
4:30 Banquet Room open, with cash bar.
6:00 Dinner is served.
7:00 Events begin, exactly schedule TBD

Sunday, May 28th 8:00 am until 10:00 pm
The Hospitality room will be open. There will be coffee service with fruits and pastries available and some type of
finger foods / appetizers available in the afternoon.

Monday, May 29th (Memorial Day Holiday) 8:00 am until 12:00 noon
The Hospitality Room will be open with coffee service and fruits and pastries available until noon at which time it will be closed for good.

The purpose of the RAYUNION 2017 is to get old friends and shipmates back together. The Hospitality room is provided as a central meeting place and a place to hang out. Other than the banquet and the other activities listed, it is all free time for you to get together and do things outside of the hotel if you feel the desire. The Hotel is centrally located Downtown with many things available to you within walking distance. I encourage you to use the visitnorfolktoday.com and their contact # is 1-800-368-3097. There is a ton of stuff to do if you are so inclined.
Also, The Hospitality room has audio /video capabilities that we intend to use during the hours that it is open. If you have videos or want to create a slide show or something to show everyone, bring it and we will show it so everyone can enjoy it. If it is something special we can also schedule it for a certain time ????

River Boat tour: We are currently having discussions with WWW.Navalbasecruises.com about their river cruise that includes the naval base.This boat departs and returns from the Nauticus location which is about 3 blocks from our hotel and the same pier as the Battleship.They are willing to extend a group discount to us for the cruise itself for $20.00 for those who have input your names BEFORE 01 APRIL 2017.

No jeans or T-shirts at the banquet. Chew will be wearing dockers and a Hawaiian shirt. Coyote will be wearing slacks, blazer, and open shirt.
Ladies can wear slacks or a dress or a skirt.......
Guys can wear a coat & tie, a coat and no tie or slacks and a shirt with a collar................
Bottom line, don't dress like a bum for the banquet.
In the hospitality room, you can wear whatever won't get you arrested.
