20120312 Home to Livingstone LA 340 miles

Rain from Pensacola west, varying from heavy to just a mist. No big problem.

We left the house around 9:45 and headed west down US-98 through all the beach towns (Destin, Navarre, Pensacola) and onto I-10W.

Then we slogged along in medium traffic at interstate speeds (enjoying a tail wind). Stopped for fuel and kept going.

Finally, we reached Livingstone and the Lakeside RV Resort. It's a nice place with sites around a pond.

We took it easy for a while, then fixed up a pork chop, rice, and green beans dinner that was very nice. Gradually we got accustomed to the size of the little house with wheels.

We did computer chores and read and D watched a little TV.

Not exciting, but that was the day that was.
