20120331 Livingston LA to PCB FL (330 miles)

Not much to tell about. We got up, breakfast, unhooked, and headed east on I-12 which soon turned into I-10.

Lots of traffic in spots but not terrible until we arrived in PCB. There, it was terrible. Seems like all the southern colleges AND all the southern high schools are on break – and a lot of them are here.

We pulled into the yard and unloaded the trailer into the house. I think we got everything.

I headed for the storage yard on the base. The base gate guard reminded me that my base decal expires at midnight tonight. Goody. Then my card for the storage lot didn't work so I went to the marina office and verified it expired yesterday – then they renewed it. They say it renews for 90 days – I think they're mistaken and that it expires in 30 days. I'll watch it this time.

So then I was able to store the trailer in the lot and traffic my way back home.

We're doing laundry like mad and relaxing at the same time.

End of trip. Glad you could come along.

Ed. note: We found out on 4/2/2012 that the toe that was injured on the trip is actually broken. Six to eight weeks to heal. Not a big deal, but something of an annoyance.
