Quiet day today. Up slowly, then bacon & eggs for breakfast.
Then we just took it easy till 2:00 pm, when we went to the WYC so that the Jacksons could buy logo tee-shirts. We saw some we want but we'll go back later to get them. We had a couple of glasses there.
Then we went to Ward's Warehouse shopping area and parked. We went to the first level to window-shop. The first store was a maternity shop, so we just had to look through it. Got a couple of ideas for gifts. A few stores later came a Hawaiiana book store, so we looked through that and got even more ideas.
Then up to the second level to Kincaid's for dinner. We had Kobe meatloaf sliders appetizer, then soups, then various seafood dishes which we shared around - all were good. We had a great window table where we watched the end of a really good rain shower until the sun came out and later set.
We got back to the condo to find the cushions on the lanai all wet so we set them up to dry and wiped down the table. We gave the cats their treat for the night - little cut-up pieces of shrimp. We chatted for an hour or so. Then we decided we'd go in so the Jacksons can pack and organize for their departure in the morning. Its 9:42 pm, and a beautiful night now that the clouds passed by. We just saw moonrise and can see lightning in the clouds to the south.
