Up, light breakfast, some preparation, then onto the road. First stop was the Pali overlook, looking toward the windward side. Really windy up there as the breeze funnels through the pass.
Then down to Kailua, where with the aid of directions given by D's iTouch we found the house Glenn & Lou lived in while out here. Then a tour of Lanakai looking for other things and in the process found Buzz's Steak House where their youngest daughter (Carla) celebrated a birthday. We had lunch there, various fish things, and all of it good.
After that, we found Kamehameha Hwy and followed it around Koko Head and Diamond Head into Waikiki. We cruised up and down Waikiki looking at various things and marveling at how much it had changed. Then we went to the Waikiki Yacht Club for a glass. Place was quiet, cool, comfortable, and just plain nice. Glenn & Lou were super-impressed that Fran left a guest card for them so they can use the place.
Off to Safeway for foodstuffs, then to the condo for happy hour, cat-feeding, cat-grazing (PC likes grass which is kept in a pot and grown for the purpose) and so forth.
Later Glenn did chicken marsala, which made a great dinner with baked potato and salad.
Then more talking and remembering. Up late again, but having too much fun to just go to bed.
