Up and down to breakfast in the Koko Cafe in the Hale Koa. Dolores still a little cautious about moving around, so we read and did computer stuff most of the morning.
Later, we took a hike up Kalakaua window-shopping. We stopped at the Apple Store to buy Dolores her new iTouch. We also bought the iLife update for our computers. I get her old iPod when she's moved all her stuff to the iTouch.
We cruised the International Market Place (shlock central) just for amusement, and did some more window-shopping back down Kalakaua. We stopped at the Yard House (110 beers on tap) for a pint. Then back to the Hale Koa. Picked up some small items in the Post Exchange.
Duane picked us up at 4:45 and took us to the condo the easy-to-remember way (Ala Moana to Ward and up the hill). He gave a tour en route. Up to the 16th floor. What a super condo!! Two BR, two baths, two cats. Great lanai, nice furnishings, good storage for a condo - they've obviously worked at it. And, of course, a beautiful view that includes everything from Diamond Head on the east to the airport on the west.
We met the cats, but they're still aloof. We had pupus on the lanai with wine, then moved inside for dinner (steaks, potato, salad). We had more wine and talked a lot.
Finally, we grabbed a cab and returned to the Hale Koa (late). Dolores tells me the cab driver said I'd had fun.
