We stayed around the room taking it easy, then packing and checking out on-line. Fran was running errands but then swung by the Hale Koa to pick us up. She took us to Ryan's for lunch. Fran and I had a pepper-brushed ahi medallians over linguini, and D had soup and creole chicken fettucini. All of it good.
Then we went up to the condo. Fran and Duane did chores and paid bills and all that sort of thing while we became more acquainted with the cats. We took off for a trip to the Ala Moana Center to get mom some shorts. I got lost a couple of times but finally it appeared in front of us. We wandered through the place just to look at it - lots of really high-end stores. Found the shorts in Sears. Almost got run over leaving the parking lot by some squirrel in a big SUV exiting quickly. Got back to the condo without further excitement.
Fran made up some sliced sausage pieces with mustards for happy hour on the deck. Duane let one of the cats graze on some grass he keeps in small pots - the cat likes it and apparently it's ok for them. The other cat gets treats.
Fran made a fruit salad, spinach, rice (in the rice cooker) and some nice mahimahi that Duane found at Safeway. Lovely dinner.
Then it came time for them to depart. Duane drove to the airport's United departure place, they left, I drove the car back. The airport infrastructure is more complex than I remember from earlier trips.
Now we're back at the condo watching TV and doing computer stuff.
Cool and cloudy all day.
