Up slowly. Church at Sts Peter & Paul on Kehaka St behind Ala Moana center again.

Then out to the Navy Exchange to get a couple of small things we'd overlooked yesterday, including another memory chip for the camera.

Then down to the USS Bowfin (SS287) museum submarine. Bowfin was an earlier class diesel-electric submarine than the one I where I first qualified (Sarda) and looks it - by this I mean that Sarda's internal arrangements and features were more thought out. We walked on board and down into the forward torpedo room. I showed Dolores most of the highlights of that compartment, then the forward battery, control room, after battery, forward engine room (GM engines on this boat), after engine room, maneuvering room, and after torpedo room. We took some pictures as we went and a few more topside as we walked around up there.

The conning tower off another boat (USS Parche) is nearby, so we went through that display. Just as we left the display, the current camera memory chip filled up. Between the two displays I remembered a good deal of my tour of duty on my diesel boat, USS Sarda.

Back through town to Safeway and the condo. Did Happy Hour on the lanai while watching Queen Mary 2 turn in the basin and go on to her next port of call - American Samoa. Gave the cats their treats and fed them. I later laid on the couch for a moment so Honey could lay on me.

Discovered PC cat later on top of Duane's printer. Had to take a picture of that.

Took it easy after dinner.
